The Frozen Ferret

When problems pile up,
and solutions seem few
It’s easy to freeze,
like a ferret it’s true

But fear not, my friend,
for there is a way
To thaw your brain
and start moving today

First, take a deep breath
and let out a sigh
Then make a list of the problems
that make your brain fry

Next, pick one, tackle one at a time,
don’t try to do them all
Break them down,
feel ten feet tall

If you’re stuck on a choice,
flip a coin or roll a dice
Sometimes it’s the small decisions
that make us feel alive

And remember, progress is progress,
no matter how small
So take a step, any step,
and feel ten feet tall

And when you’re feeling brave,
and your problems are few
Don’t forget pat your own back,
it’s well deserved, it’s true

So freeze not, my ferret friend,
for you have the power
To face your problems,
and find solutions
by the minute or the hour.
